Middle School
Advent has many programs to address the needs of children who are middle school age:Advent Lutheran Middle School - was founded by Advent Lutheran Church in 1972. We provide a Christ-centered environment for children in sixth through eighth grade. We also strive for academic excellence in mathematics, language, natural science, fine arts, and physical education. For more information about our elementary and middle school, please click here.
Breakfast Club - is our youth ministry for fifth and sixth graders. This group meets on the second and fourth Sunday of every month during the 10:00 a.m. Sunday worship service to share in the word and to enjoy the breakfast they help plan and cook. This group attends communion worship on the first and third Sunday of every month.Edge - is our two-year confirmation program for seventh and eighth graders. This program is on the cutting edge of culture and faith, spiritual childhood and spiritual adulthood, baptized Christian and disciple of Christ. Bible study, a week-long camp experience, service projects and fellowship are some components of the program. We meet Sunday evenings from 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. A youth and parent confirmation weekend retreat is held in the spring.
